Biographical Sketch
John recently joined the Institute after working in Governor Huntsman’s Public Lands Policy Coordination Office where he advised and represented the State of Utah on issues involving federal land management and natural resources.  Previously, John practiced law in Seattle, Washington where he focused on water resources and environmental permitting and compliance.  As a member of the ICSE Team, John works on legal, policy, and economic issues involving development of oil shale and tar sands.  He is currently focusing on water and land use issues. 

John’s hobbies include fly-fishing and telemark skiing.
