Biographical Sketch

Prof. Ronald J. Pugmire is the Associate Vice President for Research and leads the Analytical group of ICSE. He has published over 200 articles on nuclear magnetic resonance, spectroscopy, nuclear relaxation processes and liquid dynamics, combustion science, solid-state NMR techniques, and chemical shift tensors. He is co-director of the Utah Clean Coal Program and recently received the ACS Henry H. Storch Award for his pioneering NMR work on fuel chemistry.
