Biographical Sketch

Ms. Kelly works with students and faculty on combustion processes and the associated health, environmental, policy and performance issues.  She is a registered Professional Engineer.  Her work has focused on characterizing aerosol emissions from combustion processes, pollution prevention through process design, and collection of field data under challenging conditions including the exhaust plumes of rocket motors, F-18 aircraft, and agricultural burns.  She has also worked for the University of Tennessee and the Fraunhofer Institute for Atmospheric Environmental Research in Garmisch-Partinkirchen Germany.
